Thank You - Match Challenge Met

With the help of all of our supporters, Manchester Music Festival has reached its $45,000 matching endowment fund goal in just a few short months!

The James H. and Irene M. Hunter Charitable Trust will now match this 1:1, bringing the total new endowment contribution to $90,000.

This amount will be added to the $295,000 endowment grant already generously awarded by the Hunter Charitable Trust. Together with the continued success of MMF's Annual Fund campaign, this increase in our endowment will provide additional support in 2019 and beyond for the organization, primarily to pay the expenses of bringing top-quality artists to the Summer Festival.

From Adam Neiman, Artistic Director,
“I am over the moon that the rapidly expanding support for MMF has led to the successful completion of our endowment fundraising to meet the Hunter challenge! It is clear that the community is delighted with the direction MMF has taken, artistically and organizationally, and I am personally thrilled to be able to use this additional financial support in the future for boosted artistic planning in the years to come.”

This generous gift to our endowment will help us to attract top talent from around the globe in the future. These endowment funds will go far in bringing the joy and beauty of chamber music to Southern Vermont and further enhances the long-term success of MMF.
