A Celebration of Beethoven (part 2)

This episode is the second of a 2-part lecture-recital series celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday. These 2 episodes take a deep dive into the transformation and maturation of Beethoven’s style across his 3 periods, through the lens of the piano sonatas. In addition to commentary by the performers, the episodes will feature complete performances of four seminal piano sonatas that clearly represent the periods from which they emanate.
